BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA – Majestic Properties, a real estate firm in Bakersfield, and Patriot Elementary School, also in Bakersfield, have announced that they will be presenting the proceeds from their holiday penny drive to the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House on December 23, 2011.
Earlier this month, Majestic Properties placed penny jars in the 34 classrooms at Patriot Elementary. The students and their families donated their penny’s throughout the month. Sponsoring the drive, Majestic Properties offered to match the donation that the students and their families contributed.
Attending the presentation will be Bart and Tracey Tipton, founders of Majestic Properties, Jen Keyes, Principal of Patriot Elementary, Jill Craw of the Patriot PTA, and Scartlett Sabin, Manager of the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House.
“We are excited to be involved in the donation of the penny drive tomorrow to an organization as great as the Ronald McDonald House”, said Tracey Tipton of Majestic Properties.
